Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer - born August 4th 1981 - is an American Actress. Her most well-known work is the roles she appeared in the film Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful The Great and Powerful, The Great and Powerful, Is Where I Leave You. She currently stars as Amantha Holden in the Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American film director and actress with a television show. She rose to fame with the roles she portrayed in the drama series Rectify. She hails from Gulf Breeze, Florida and was first introduced to acting on the soap-opera All My Children. She was awarded a Soap Opera Digest Award for the most outstanding female newcomer. In the following years she mostly played guest parts on various television series. In the show Hawthorne, she was praised for playing the role of Dr. Erin Jameson. Gradually, with her stunning looks and impressive acting abilities, she was able to grow a huge fan of her. In the film Campfire Stones, she played in the role in the film at age 20. The actress has also been featured in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks as well as other films. To honor her performance on Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. In the past, she played Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. It has been well-received by critics and Spencer's performance has been nominated for The Teen Choice Award.
